Mission and vision:

We saw room for more collaboration with peers at other sport organizations and for more resources dedicated to the development of analytics professionals in our industry. So we set out to start an organization that focused on doing just that.  Sports D.A.T.A.’s  mission is to increase literacy, adoption, and proficiency in analytics within the sports industry. We intend to operate as a 501(c)(6) nonprofit and will provide an update when our application for that status has been approved. We will represent four analytics subject matters: Revenue Generation, Administration, Sports Science, and Sports Analytics. 501(c)(6) nonprofits are member-driven organizations and all revenue generated from membership and partnership will go towards benefiting the membership. Heading into the 2022-2023 year for us, we are seeking an additional Officer and two Board Members. If you are interested in either of those positions, please reach out to info@sportsdatapros.com. Please be aware that these positions are not compensated.

Where we are going:

‍We are now accepting free membership requests at both the Associate and Professional levels.  Associate members are those that do not currently work in the sports industry such as students or professionals in other industries hoping to make a career shift. In July, we will be moving to a paid membership model. Professional membership will cost $75 annually and Associate membership will cost $25 annually.  Please read about the differences in membership and submit your interest form on our website.
